CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS AT ARP JR HIGH

AJH is flying high after receiving the state’s RECOGNIZED status for 2008.  We are very excited about our rating and look forward to another great year.  Teachers are preparing interesting and challenging lessons and activities for our students.

We are proud to have hired two new teachers, both of whom are past Arp High School graduates.  Leavonna Weiss will teach 6^th and 7^th grade math and Joey Brunson will be the junior high band director as well as assist the high school band program. 

The junior high has received a bit of a face lift over the summer.  Each classroom has been painted and decorated to reflect a teacher’s distinct personality as well as stimulate learning.  We believe the students will be pleased to move from class to class as it will appear they are in a totally new environment in each class.  We invite you to come by and take a look.

There is just one way to bring up a child in the way that he should go and that is to travel that road yourself.
